Christmas Shopping from the Eaton's Catalogue

The Eaton's Catalogue is often mentioned in relationship to Christmas. Below is a quote from Olive Ibsen (nee Woodman)

"One year we had a grand total of one dollar to spend so we got out the catalogue and managed a gift for each of us. I ordered a pretty calendar for Mother costing fifteen cents" See 100 Years of Ibsen Christmas for the complete story.
Using this quote a group of students in the Tri-Heritage Mondays Summer program came up with lists what they could get for $1.00 from the 1909 Eaton's Catalogue for the family of 7 children ages 1 - 11 and two parents.  (see list of items to select from below).
